Sahara Lebanese Cuisine - Sterling
Shish Tawouk - well, that’s what I had for dinner tonight and it was so tasty. If you are a foodie and you have an interest in Middle Eastern food, then you have to try this place once. Though the interior design is not as flashy as Lebanese Taverna; the food was delicious. The service was good and we were the only occupied table at that time. I felt that we were a little early.
Me: I’ll take Shish Tawouk with Yogurt drink
We always run out of Yogurt drink early. In case we do not have any, would you like to have any other drink?
Me: Hmmm - I’ll have hot tea.
Well, that’s a nice way to say - we don’t have Yogurt drink!
I think this place was a family owned business, like husband handling the kitchen and wife handling the service :)
It was her dramatic acting while knowing that I have visited another Lebanese restaurant the night before that caused a tight giggle inside. Think- a young actress trying to buy her way into Hollywood… immature and VERY scary!
If you decide to drop in, whatever you do; don’t disclose their competition but do at least try their creations… you will not be disappointed.
