Opera Mini

Sometime back, I wrote about Opera mini here. Now It has evolved and we have latest 5.x version available for most of the phones. Many would know about the "Power user settings" available in this browser - Now let's see how we can utilize this for viewing bitmap fonts in your phone. For more information on the Bitmap fonts click here.

When you type config: in  the address bar, you would see a screen something like below

In this settings - look for "Use bitmap font for complex script" - Change "No" to "Yes" and then "Save".

Now its all done, you can view any of your favorite regional language websites in your phone itself. :)

Visit m.opera.com in your phone browser to install Opera Mini - if you havn't installed.
